Adobe Photoshop CS5

So I am eagerly waiting for Adobe to launch Photoshop CS5. Rumor has it that we will see it hit next month sometime. With that being said I have been able to see some sneak peaks on various key features. I am VERY excited about the CONTENT AWARE FILL! Using this tool is going to speed up post quite a bit.

How many of you have tried to use the panorama tool in Photoshop and stitch your shots together? Many times the pano is unusable because of how much crop needs to be done around the edges. Regardless it takes a lot of time to fill, clone, stamp in photo loss. Not any more when using the new Content Aware Fill tool in CS5.

Check out the video below and you will understand why I am geeked out about the new tool.

One Last Time

It was both bitter & sweet to fish a certain stretch of river for the last time with the ruling of HB141.  Utah fly fisher’s & recreationists will no longer be able to enjoy the water that our pioneers did when they settled in this great state. It is discouraging to see such an unconstitutional bill pass in the Utah Senate.  I feel horrible for our kids who will not be able to fish these same river stretches that I have enjoyed all my life.

Some photographs from the set…

Sad Day for Utah Fishing & All Those That Enjoy Utah Water

House Bill 141 -Representative McIff's unconstitutional House-bill somehow passes the Utah Senate.

In an odd twist of events, the 2nd substitute HB-141 was passed with a 19-10 vote late in the day.

A swarm of brand-new cowboy hats filled the hallway in front of the Senate door this afternoon in anticipation for a full floor debate. The 2nd substitute HB-141 was made public, just 3 hours before the vote.... in a nut shell, its still full of problems.

Also, Senator Stowell attached a bill, SB-281 Public Access to Stream Beds - Utah Waterways Task Force, to HB-141. We'll post a full breakdown shortly.

The Vote->http://le.utah.gov/~2010/status/hbillsta/hb0141s02.htm Please note how your Representative voted and act according come election time. If they stood up for the Constitution and water law, send in a note thanking them.
